## How it works — three taps to a sound system

1. **Be a host.** Open LoudParty on an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Silicon Mac.
   Pick a local audio file — MP3, FLAC, AAC, WAV.
2. **Join the party.** Friends open the app and tap your host card. Their
   device joins over the local link — no pairing, no codes.
3. **Play in sync.** Hit play on the host. Every listener fires the same
   sample at the same instant.

## The sync engine

Every listener pings the host with an NTP-style ping/pong round and locks to
the host's audio clock. Playback is sample-accurate: each phone schedules
buffers against the iOS audio engine, then refines its offset every 100 ms.
End-to-end audible drift stays under 10 ms — below what the human ear can
resolve.
