Plain language. No tracking, no analytics, no accounts. The party stays in the room.

Summary

LoudParty does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. The app makes zero network calls. No accounts, no analytics, no crash reporting, no remote logging. Everything the app does happens on your device and over a direct peer-to-peer Wi-Fi or Bluetooth link to the other phones in the room.

The short version: If you uninstall LoudParty, there is nothing left to delete on our side, because there was never anything there.

Data we don't collect

To be specific β€” here is a non-exhaustive list of things LoudParty does not collect:

  • Your name, email, phone number, or Apple ID
  • Your IP address or location
  • The titles, artists, or content of audio files you play
  • Track skip rate, listening time, session length, or any usage analytics
  • The device IDs of other phones in your party
  • Crash reports or diagnostic logs
  • Cookies, identifiers, advertising IDs, fingerprints

What lives on your device

The app does store a small amount of data locally on your iPhone, which never leaves it:

App preferences
visualizer choice, default party name
Recent tracks
last 10 files played, in iOS sandbox
Pro receipt
Apple StoreKit receipt (Apple's container)
Per-device EQ
your trim settings, on host device

All of this is in iOS's app sandbox. Deleting the app deletes everything except the App Store purchase record, which Apple holds.

Local link & peers

When you host or join a party, your phone broadcasts a short session ID over Apple's Multipeer Connectivity (peer-to-peer Wi-Fi when available, with Bluetooth as a fallback) so other LoudParty users in range can discover it. The session ID is random and resets every session β€” it is not tied to your phone, your Apple ID, or any persistent identifier.

Audio traffic between phones uses Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework, which is encrypted end-to-end by default (AES-128-GCM with ephemeral keys). We do not have access to the audio stream, the session metadata, or anything else passing between phones.

Third parties

LoudParty integrates with exactly one third party: the Apple App Store, for purchase and subscription handling. Apple's privacy policy applies to that transaction (apple.com/legal/privacy). We do not see your billing information.

We do not embed any SDKs from Google, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft, or any analytics or advertising vendor.

Children

LoudParty is rated 4+ in the App Store and does not contain user-generated content, advertising, or social features. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone (children included) because we do not collect personal data, period.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes in a way that affects users (it has not, so far), we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of the page and post a note in the app's release notes on the App Store. There is no email list to update, because we don't have your email.

Contact

Questions, requests, or polite objections to our practices: [email protected]. A single human reads that inbox.

License

By installing LoudParty, BeeCrow, LLC grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on iPhones and iPads associated with your Apple ID, for personal or commercial use, subject to these terms.

You may not redistribute, decompile, reverse engineer, or rebrand the app. You may not extract the bundled audio engine for use in a competing product. Otherwise β€” go nuts.

Acceptable use

LoudParty is for playing audio you have the legal right to play, in the company of consenting humans. Do not use it to:

  • Distribute audio in ways that violate copyright
  • Harass, disturb, or harm others (e.g. blasting audio at someone's window at 3am)
  • Probe, reverse-engineer, or attack the peer-to-peer protocol in environments where you don't have permission

We can't enforce most of that β€” there's no server. But these are the rules, for the record.

Payment & refunds

Pro is sold either as a yearly subscription ($9.99/year) or a one-time lifetime purchase ($29). All transactions are handled by Apple. Refunds are also handled by Apple β€” we do not have access to the payment system to issue refunds ourselves.

If you bought Pro and feel you should not have, request a refund through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple is usually generous within the first 14 days.

Subscription cancellation: Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings β†’ Apple ID β†’ Subscriptions on your iPhone. We cannot do it for you.

Warranty disclaimer

LoudParty is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The app is small, focused, and tested β€” but parties happen in unpredictable environments. We do not warrant that the sync engine will hit sub-10 ms drift in every Bluetooth-saturated club basement, or that the app will be available, uninterrupted, or bug-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeeCrow, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of LoudParty. Our total liability under any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the app (which for most users is $0).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware. If you live elsewhere and your jurisdiction grants you stronger consumer protections, those apply.
